Erma Bombeck was a Goddess! Aside from natural humor (as opposed to forced), I am very fond of Acrostic Poetry. One of my favorite things to attempt is Acrostic and Poetic definitions. If you haven't a clue what I'm trying to say, read some of my attempts.

Latest News:

I'm turning some of my poetry into songs, and others into recited works.  Give them a listen and let me know what you think.

Birth Place: Suffolk, VA USA

Accomplishments: I've been raising children all of my life so I haven't accomplished anything other than gray hair, wrinkles, and wide hips.

OK. So that isn't exactly true. When I was younger (MUCH YOUNGER) I had three of my poems published in a vanity anthology. The first was published in 1975 I think. I've slept since then. The second two were published the following year.

Since having those three poems published I've continued to write but haven't shared much of it.

Now is the time.

Additional information

My current project (Where's Mom) is a novel about a mother's painful choice to leave her children in the care of their father as she abandons family life to discover who she is. The story explores events in the mother's life which led her to the decisions she made, her later regrets concerning those decisions, and her desperate need to be forgiven by her now adolescent children.
