Leigh Johnstone grew up in Kent and was brought up within a middle class family. His writing talent started early on with the publication of 'This Day' in a local council poetry book. He took inspiration from the world around him, family, love, emotions and used them to create a series of hard-hitting poems in 2001, some of which Leigh has said he will never publish. In 2004 he took his more newer influences of drama and the arts and used the creativity to produce several poems based on all sorts of issues, from world politics to love and betrayal. He is currently studying Drama at The University of Winchester and continues to write, based on new life experiences.
