Linda Buskey LeBlanc was born in Syracuse, New York. She holds and M.A. in British Literature, taught high school English and creative writing for twenty-six years, as well as journalism and film. Linda has studied poetry since 1999 in workshops at the University of Massachusetts, Boston--the William F. Joiner Center, the Provincetown Fine Arts Work Center, Vermont College Post-Graduate Writers' Conference, the Cape Cod Writers' Conference, the Santa Barbara Writers' Conference, the Virginia Piper Arizona State Writers Conference among others. She has served on the editorial board of the literary quarterly, Rosebud.

 Linda is a member of  the Cape Cod Writers' Center,  the New England Poetry Club,  the Concord Poetry Center, the National League of American Pen Women. On Trains, currently in 26 states and 10 foreign countries since its release by Codfish Press in January 2008, consists of literary, accessible lyrics and narratives with universal appeal.
