I write news articles, novels, short stories, opinion pieces, philosophy, memoirs, blogs, poems, songs and grocery lists. I even write to my mother. This picture was taken while I was rafting on the Klamath River, which is down the hill from where I live in a cabin in the woods.

Information

I'm a native of the San Francisco Bay Area and have lived in California all my life. A few years ago I moved to the Klamath National Forest. I'm a mother of five (the youngest is 17) and have worked as a preschool teacher, county welfare eligibility worker, paralegal, and web designer. I'm a family-rights activist, a journaler, and a former home school parent.
I've been writing for about 35 years. Since 2001 I've been writing novels for children, teens, and young women.
