My background is your basic run of the mill Catholic upbringing, with I think a little difference, I had a speech teacher in Primary school, She taught me to not only recite poetry, but to understand it on a deeper level and to love it! Shakespeare was read to me at a young age. I grew up to understand him, not an easy thing to do, I'm told by many! Chaucer, I love his imagery. I think these days my major influence would have to be life itself. I guess you could say I'm on a Journey of Self Discovery through the Desert of Life. Having said that however, there is one constant source of inspiration, my love of paintings and photography, one artist in particular constantly inspires me whenever I go to his site. It may be some tiny detail in a painting, or other times I wonder how I could have missed such beauty.Thanks Richard for sharing such beauty with the world.

Accomplishments: I have no official achievements or anything like that. Perhaps one day I will, to be recognised by ones peers would be the ultimate. Also I think if someone could honestly come up to me and say "Your work inspired me" would be right up there too!.
I have lots of sporting awards though!
