Born in Cairo, Egypt, I came to England as a child and have lived here ever since. My Dad was English, my Mum Greek and so the Greek influence has always been strong in my life, especially the music and dance. I began writing in my teens. Some of us are late developers but my excuse is having kids. Now they are all grown up and I have time to write again and suddenly it all came pouring out of me once more. I particularily wanted to capture some of my mother's memories before she gets too old to remember.
