Lynne Gentry has first-hand knowledge of ministry life. Married to a preacher for thirty years, she and her husband have served congregations in Oklahoma, Georgia, and Texas.
She grew up on a Kansas dairy farm. Entertaiment was hard to come by out on the windswept plains. Forced to entertain herself honed her storytelling skills. She went on to train in speech and theater at Oklahoma Christian University, thinking the stage would be her story medium.
Lynne has written, produced, and directed countless worship sketches plus two full-length musicals for the Christmas and Easter holidays. She is aprofessional acting coach who prepares novice actors for that first professional audition. Three of her clients have signed with major Hollywood agencies and one with a Broadway agent.
She travels the country performing The Reinvention of Leona Harper at retreats and conferences. She spends her free time writing novels and visiting her two grown children.
