I really enjoy the time I spend feeding the birds, and squirrels that visit the trees in my yard, and the bird feeder that hangs from my kitchen window in the morning, and then later watching them eat.

Malinda Mitchell resides in Mississippi, and is married to her husband Alton, has four grown children, a thirteen-year-old son, and eight grandchildren. Malinda has been writing fiction for all ages for more than thirty-seven years. She began writing when her oldest child was two-years-old. Every so often she would write a story and then put in a folder. Years later when she bought a computer she began seeking a publisher. Malinda has a lot of interests, but spending time with family, friends, writing, and still life oil painting are her favorites. Among her books and Amazon Shorts, Malinda is also published in the summer Issue 2008, of Once Upon A Time Magazine, and has recently had a poem and drawing accepted for publication in a future issue of this magazine.
