After spending twelve years writing and producing over a dozen interactive murder mysteries for bed and breakfast inns, corporate events and team-building programs, and developing a following of thousands of fans across the country, M. E. Blount decided to change his focus to writing novels. His first novel, Cross Your Heart and Hope to Die, was released in June 2001 and his second, A Trivial Pursuit, will be out in the fall of 2002.

He is currently working on his third novel, Power Play, an international thriller that uncovers a threat to U.S. energy production by foreign powers. A fourth novel, The Class Project, is also in development.
