Background Information

Born in Sicily in 1937, Michael Sammaritano spent his childhood in the heart of WWII. In 1956 he graduated from the Scuola Professionale a Tipo Industriale. At the age of twenty he moved to the United States and taught himself English.

In The Sicilian Conspiracy author Michael Sammaritano evokes the beautiful scenery of the Sicilian coastline and the complexity of its native sons. The Sicilian Conspiracy is a story that is at once about family and loyalty, honor and corruption and, ultimately, revenge and redemption and the agonizing choices one must make to see dreams come true and justice prevail.
