I am an internist specializing in pulmonary medicine. I have had several hundred poems published and 3 chapbooks. Currently I am the poetry editor of CHEST, the Journal of the American College of Chest Physicians with 55000 subscribers. My third book of poetry, Mid Life, was published by Pudding House Publications. 2 of my poems were selected for inclusion in the “The Best of the Fairfield Review 1997-2002”, and one of them was the Editor’s Choice for the Best of the Best. I was a winner of the Firman Houghton award in poetry given by the New England Poetry Society. I am a practicing physician when not writing poetry.
