Ms. Devon is inspired by her muse, which is both a person and a figment... She considers Robert Fulghum to be her mentor, though she's never met the man. He is the reason she wrote her first manuscript, Sidewalk Chalk, inspired by his witty brand of inspiration and philosophy.
