My name's Miranda Hynes and I'm a New Englander, born and raised. I've always been interested in writing, always written short little stories about anything and everything, until last year, 2006, when I decided to actually try and complete a story, and I did! I self published it on Lulu.com under the title of Subtle Differences and since then I've gotten about half way through another story and have the idea for yet another on the way. I'm currently a college student and I write in my free time. I'm thinking of majoring in Studio Art and Psychology with a minor in Music but I hope to take some English classes on the side to improve my writing. Writing is one of my greatest stress relievers, I make my characters do things that I would never do and experience things that I haven't gotten the chance to yet. Whenever I'm feeling over burdened, I sit down and just start writing... something. Sometimes it turns into a story or a song, a poem or just a short quote, something to pour some bit of myself into.
