Mitch Haynes graduated from the University of North Texas with a B.A. in political science and a minor in English. He has studied various disciplines of martial arts, combat handgun tactics, and fencing. He is an avid lover of the outdoors and an expert in wilderness survival.
Mitch Haynes decided when he was 12 years old that he wanted to be a writer and he undertook a course of study to achieve that goal.
The greatest influences on his writing have been Raymond Chandler, James M. Cain, Robert B. Parker, and Harlan Coben. He also enjoys the works of Vince Flynn, David Baldacci, and Louis L'Amour.
