Author of the Alicia Anderson series of novels (Darksome Thirst, The Old Power Returns) where Alicia, a geeky computer operator in the early 1980s encounters a vampire in the computer room. Witches in a nearby city feel the distress on the astral and come to her aid. (Think "Dark Shadows", not "Twilight".) Set in the west of Boston.
