Special message from Nadia: Hi everyone, I’m a baby boomer, and for me, the best part of my life is just beginning. Here I am, at an age where in generations past, I would be retired, lunching with friends, babysitting grandchildren, or perfecting my golf swing.
At first, I slipped right into that mindset. The passtimes I mentioned are all wonderful things, but I couldn’t help thinking to myself, “Is this all there is, now that I’ve reached a certain age? No!” Then came the aha moment, followed by the idea that I still have time to make “act two” count for something special. I realized my life wasn’t even close to being over!
The first thing I did was work on my personal transformation. For me, that meant losing weight–88 pounds to be exact, which I did in a relatively short period of time. The second thing was to overcome lifelong fears. (I suffered from a deep-rooted fear of public speaking.) I did that too!
Overcoming these two, huge hurdles made me feel young, alive, invincible and unstoppable, and I’m excited to be in a position to share with you the techniques I used, and teach you how to apply them to your circumstances (regardless of what you want to accomplish), and write a brand new chapter in your own life story.
My brand: shift, change, and ultimately TRANSFORMATION. Whatever your age, it’s never too late to shake off negative self-talk and LIVE your life with intent.
My mission: to share my story and techniques with other baby boomers in order to help them find the courage or inspiration they need to reawaken sidelined dreams, because ”some day” is no longer in the future, it’s here.
My advice: It’s time to do the things you’ve always said you were going to do, or replace outdated dreams with better ones–and follow through! I’m not talking about a bucket list to mark off items one by one saying, “There, I did that.” I’m talking about LIVING.
