Love is God’s creation, the whole and every grain of sand in it. Love every leaf, every ray of God’s light. Love the animals, love the plants, love everything. If you love everything, you will perceive it, you will begin to comprehend it better every day. And you will come at last to love the whole world with an all-embracing love.
Fyodor Dostoyevsky

My mission in life is to love more and fear less, to have gratitude, to live in the present, to remain curious and to treat life as a wondrous adventure.
My blessings in life are having lived in Africa and America. Receiving a BA and MS degree in Psychology. Becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor and working with children for 20 years at a Mental Health Center.
Leading seminars on mental health topics and being an ordained minister with the Alliance of Divine Love, an international interfaith ministry since 1987.
Marrying Bud Queen, my heart’s companion, who has helped me heal through his loving kindness. Living in a log cabin next to a creek in the woods with a golden retriever, a cat and two chickens. Enjoying outdoor adventures such as hitchhiking on sailboats, canoe camping and backing in the mountains.
Writing and publishing a book titled Earth, the Forgotten Temple: A Spirit Quest in the Wilderness"about my spiritual quest while hitchhiking on sailboats, canoe camping and solo backpacking.

I have chartered sailboats with friends and hired a skipper since the mid 70s for up to 10 days. We have mostly sailed in the Bahamas but we have also been to the British and American Virgin Islands, Belize, the Florida Keys and the Georgia Coast. In 1991 I took a year off work to do extended sailing. Since I did not have a boat I put an ad in Cruising World for offshore experience and got over 70 offers. Although the first six weeks were tough with the first skipper I ended up hitchhiking on two other boats and had extraordinary experiences.
