Wondering minds want to know... who am I? No big mystery, really. I'm just your average Alaskan author married to a hillbilly from Kentucky with two almost grown boys. We can't get rid of the oldest. We considered putting him up for sale on Ebay, but figured no one would pay us for him. But since he is going to college, we're giving him a break for awhile. My youngest son is fifteen with a penchant for math and guns and a very odd sense of humor.  Go figure. And if that weren't enough, we're the proud owners of Chalupa and Sushi...no, not the food, the Chihuahuas.

Well, I haven't received too many awards or certificates (okay, none) but only because I have never submitted anything to any kind of writing contests, etc. I did complete two writing courses through the Institute of Children's Literature and a college writing course a couple years ago. I passed with A's so I'm assuming I have some talent.

Live and learn is becoming my new motto. I am withdrawing my book from Tate Publishing and getting my feet wet as an indie author/publisher. I will be starting out on Smashwords getting my book distributed in all the various formats to different online ebook stores to be purchased and downloaded as...you guessed it...an ebook! Haven't quite decided what company I'll be using for the hard copies...either Createspace or Lightning Source...or perhaps some other option.
