Originally from New York City, Nicholas S. Stember has lived in Europe and Israel, but spent most of his life growing up in the suburbs of Princeton, NJ. His father, Charles H. Stember, was a professor of Sociology at Rutgers University, and a published author of several Sociology texts. His mother, Sue, was a professional singer and later a portrait photographer, which she still does today. With two creative influences, it wasn’t hard to see the directions he’d take. Encouraged at an early age, he began writing as a hobby, but now pursues writing as a serious career. Spending nights writing, his days are spent as a substitute teacher. He has had several short stories published in genre magazines and one anthology, and currently has one published novel, and two in the wings getting ready to be offered. Aside from writing Science Fiction and Fantasy (and the occasional Horror), he role plays it out in a fantasy world of his own called Phantasma(tm), using d20(tm) rules. During free moments he enjoys spending time with his friends and his step-daughter both in the real and virtual worlds. Nicholas presently resides in Princeton, NJ with his cat, Galahad.
Birth Place: New York, NY USA
Accomplishments: I know you should boast of your achievements here, but I'd rather mention my daughter, Elizabeth. She's turning out to be quite a writer herself. She's a young poet with a lot of fire in her writing and I'm very proud of her work. Below here is a link to her page on AuthorsDen.
