When I was a child I didn't always know all of the words that I needed to express things verbally. I discovered that I could paint what I saw or what I was thinking with words. Whether it be frustration, anger, pain, happiness or excitement, I could express it better with my words after a little time alone in my head, than when I was trying to speak them to another person. Ideas continued to come to me, like lightning flashes they demand attention and I have to respond to those flashes with my "good" pen in hand. Sometimes I write stories, sometimes poetry, sometimes my voice sounds like a nun or Stephen King and sometimes I'm between those lines. Straight forward, not always politically correct, offering my unrefined version of the the truth. It's all me though. What you see is what you get.

| My spiritual side
I'm an ordained minister at The Light House Chapel. I have a blog on that sight which gives me another writing outlet if not a great deal of reader feedback. I love good feedback. No, I mean it. Maybe I should say, I love it when the feedback is "good" - that is, positive, "you're a wonderful writer" type stuff.

My Friends
"I love theatre, theatre is my life"
This group does a great job of allowing non-published authors to see their work produced. Take a look!

My business side
I respond to the Reading For Leading blog under the pseudonym "Jesse La Tour" I don't know exactly why - it just liberates me a little from having to color inside of the lines.

Additional information
|
| I like to write everything - every genre, things I see, questions I have, strategic shopping lists. One of the most frustrating things for me is to see my name credited for edits or assistance I've provided in other people's books! I've decided that instead of focusing on getting someone else published (and being successful) it's time for me to get myself published, in a more prominent way than I have in the past. |
