Background Information

I am the area's newest up-and-coming author, who's dedicated the last 7 months to the completion of a book to which many parents can relate. After I lost my son to a violent crime, I longed to reach out to help others to have hope and heal in similar situations. I watched as my son fought for his life for 7 days, and has dealt with the grief everyday for the past 17 years. Join me on my journey and watch the powerful healing process in A Silent Scream. Explore the aftermath of how my son's tragic death affects me in my non-fiction novel about losing a loved one to youth violence. I am the mother of three beautiful daughters and one suriving son and the grandmother of Lil Kenny Shanae,Shakia,Ashleigh,Branden,Brittany,Quesean and Heavyn. They are the light of my life.
