From writing for newspapers( including The Evening Star in Washington, DC) to teaching at Writing Centers and universities to keeping a diary from childhood through my own motherhood, writng has always been part of my life. In between, I have raised, raced, and shown thoroughbred horses, raised three children as a single parent, traveled extensively spending several years living in Europe, had sevral special dogs as my "shadows", lived three years on a sailboat, and enjoyed oil painting from pets to landscapes to surealistic works. Many stories to tell!
