My life's experiences as a husband, father, firefighter, soldier and now a disabled civilian led me to discover a gift hidden most of my life; telling life's tales in poetic form. Actually, I don't believe it was hidden; it was not there. Not until I had experienced enough of life to have a better understand of the direction that God wanted me to take. That's what this is all about. It is a gift from God; not a talent. And it's not about publishing and selling books either. It's simply about sharing God's love and learning to live in harmony with the rest of mankind; our brothers and sisters the world over. The task I've now undertaken in doing The Old Testament in poetic form has been daunting but unbelievably eye opening too. I am litterally in awe at the lessons to be learned from the stories in Genesis and the rest of the Bible. Though I have read and taken courses studying the Bible over the last eight years I am still amazed at how hard the Bible is to understand. I can only pray that in doing the stories in poetic form will help many to better understand them. So far, the reviews that I have received from everyone are extremely encouraging. I made a commitment to do this and I intend to be true to my word. But anyway; I would like to invite you to share my experiences and revelations while relating to the joys and struggles of this weird and wonderful trip called life. God's goal and mine is to uplift and inspire you, in hopes that all of you will find joy and contentment as you travel down your chosen paths to your own Trail's End while following in Jesus' foot steps. May God watch over you and bless you.

THE REASON IS CLEAR was my first work to be published in December, 2003 in the Laconia Citizen in Laconia, NH. Next came PROTECT THEM ALL on page 1 of Timeless Voices published in 2006 by The International Library of Poetry. Maybe a mistake getting involved with them but what can I say. Just another lesson in life I guess. My latest blessing from above comes in the form of a book of my own; TRAIL'S END POETRY-Lessons in Life, (ISBN 1-4241-8009-0)which is now available through Amazon.com, Barnes and Noble and Publish America.com. My second book, another blessing, MOUNTAIN TRAILS, Lessons in Life, Book 2 (ISBN 9781434335715) was published by Author House in November, 2007. TRAILS TO ETERNITY - Lessons in Life, Book 3 is now 100% complete and in the hands of the publisher. But publishing books is not what this is all about. One breath, one step and one day at a time I guess. This will probably be my final book in the Lessons in Life series. I feel a calling to do THE BIBLE, the Old Testament in particular, in poetic form. From there, I'll just have to wait and see what trail God puts me on. Thank you for visiting, reading some of my work and for your reviews. May God bless you and yours always.
