Give all the idols in the world to a man on a desert and he'll become the most wretched of paupers. Place the Talents of Humans in only one city at the disposal of the same Man and he'll live as though he were God.

Background Information

OUR FOREFATHERS FOUGHT some mindless battles but never like this. They needed a battalion to fight a battalion. We need only A HUNDRED ANGRY VILLAGERS from anywhere in the world to terrorise nations inhabited by hundreds of millions of people, no matter how sophisticated. This because of dangerous things that we created with our OWN HANDS...dirty bombs, chemicals weapons, Suicide Belts and the rest of it. Are we to CURE this problem or PREVENT it from becoming the norm?

Prevention, as we all know, is better than cure. And that's where philosophy comes in: Philosophy helps prevent problems before we end up spending billions of pounds and dollars looking for their cure.

We’ve come to have 9/11 AND 7/7, namely, the bombings of New York and London respectively. And we’ve had the Massacre in Madrid. All happened in the name of Religion. Some thus - rightly - asked: “If God exist, how could He let innocent people be killed in all those bombings?” And how can God say there will be a Judgment Day, as it says in The Bible, The Koran and The Torah, and then allow some individuals to dictate how others MUST live? FURTHERMORE, IF THE DEVIL IS THE PROBLEM, WHY WOULD GOD NOT KILL THE DEVIL AND LET US HAVE SOME PEACE?” I abandoned virtually everything that gives one a comfortable life to find out.

After years of toil, I found SHOULD GOD KILL THE DEVIL, GOD WILL HAVE TO KILL US, HUMANS, TOO. I did not like this answer that I got. But the reasons behind why God cannot kill the Devil, unless He kills us, Humans, too, are PERFECT. They are stated in the story of Dekile in my novel, The Mejai. Since God cannot kill the devil - unless He kills us, Humans, as well - how do we live with Devilish Problems? Drug Addiction, Alcoholism, Gun Crime, Knife Crime, Bullying, Religious Hatred to name but a few are all Devilish Problems. We would need to fight them to know any enjoyment of life. But then, as I mentioned earlier, Prevention is better than cure. And that's where philosophy comes in: It helps prevent problems before we end up spending billions of pounds and dollars looking for their cure.

Accomplishments

I studied Business & English at London Guildhall University and soon discovered that answers to questions relating to Pain and Suffering do not lie primarily in Finance and Economics. I’m an Administrator by trade. I live in London. I did a lot of field research on the future direction of our World, with emphasis on the roles of Judaism, Christianity and Islam, all three of which affects the lives and behaviours of billions of humans on Earth. Spirituality has been a part of my life from infancy. Spirituality shaped the direction of my life and everything I’ve done so far. I believe our future depends more on Spirituality than Religion, even though Religion is important.

Additional Information

My recent works were in the field of administration. The name, Mejai, defines as Gift Bearer of Great Significance. It's a Title of office, which was bestowed by a London based Professor of Medicine on a then 14-year-old character in the book, after the then 14-year-old had performed what the professor considered an amazing feat. I've placed a poetic work on this site, which speaks about gods and idols. It is only an extract from The Mejai's teachings. The Mejai said more on the subject than what I've placed on this site. gods, in The Mejai's teachings, refers to creatures with certain tangible and specific qualities and characteristics that idols cannot acquire.

This poem is an extract from The Mejai. It was written by one brother for another. Both of their parents had died on the day that the little one was born; so the older brother had to leave what he was doing abroad to look after the little one for a while. Circumstances demanded of them to part when the little one was only 5 years old. So the older brother wrote this JOURNEYS BACK for the little and asked him to keep it with him at all times.
