Age is my biggest asset. If one is around long enough; one inevitably garners a wealth of experiences. My educational background includes: Masters Degree (Equivalent) in Theology, Masters Degree in Educational Psychology, and a B.A. in Philosophy with minor in English.
Long time ago I was told to "write about things you know." As I thought about that statement, I realized my own childhood was something I knew best. I've written four stories in my "Bicycle Tales" series and have begun a fifth. All of these stories are about places from my childhood. At the same time, I've always been an amateur "history nut". Therefore, in each of my stories I try to incorporate a kernel of history. I do this with the hope that, if young people read my stories, they might find some motivation to dig deeper into the nugget of history found in them. All they have to do is learn how to "Google".
Finally, I add a fantasy element to my stories. It is the only way three kids from Sheboygan, Wisconsin can save the world or some aspect of it. With the help of an 8,000-year-old brother and sister, Aralic and Benowin, Bill, Rich and Mickie are able to travel through time and space.

Additional information
|
| My current and most recent work is Pine Woods. It is a sci-fi novel aimed at an audience aged 10 and up. I believe it is unique because it involves real places, people and things. It is tinged with bit of fantasy. I hope have a series, "Bicycle Tales", of these short novels published. |
