I have a bachelor's degree in photojournalism from Rowan University, to which I hope to one day start graduate work for my masters in creative writing.
In the meantime, I continue working as a journalist as well as several writing projects, including finishing my first novel, entitled Color of Jade, and submitting work to print and online publications.
I've also recently begun writing some book reviews for Gothic Revue, and had my first review appearing in Sabledrake in November 2004 edition of its magazine.
In addition to my writing, I am a professional and aspiring photographer. Even though that may appear to be an oxymoron, I take pictures for the papers I work for in addition to doing it as a hobby and profession outside of my workplace.
I've had photographs displayed in exhibits in Badin, North Carolina and, in New Jersey: Marlton, Galloway Twp., Ocean City and Atlantic City. I've also sold six of my photographs, in addition to receiving several awards for them.
I have also served as a judge for the Atlantic County Bar Association's annual photo contest for high school since 2002 and Pleasantville Fire Department's Fire Prevention Poster Contest since 2000
