I am a Marine Recon veteran from the Vietnam War.  I am presently completing a PhD in Psychology at Capella University, and hold a Master's Degree in Human Services/Criminal Justice from the same university.  I am a retired Police Chief, College Criminal Justice Department/Law Enforcement Coordinator, and mental health worker.  I suffer from flashbacks, hallucinations, major depressive disorder, and and a litany of other psychological and physiological problems from my service in Vietnam.  This book was written in the hope that other Combat PTSD veterans, families of veterans, and the practitioners who treat them, can gain insight from a First Person account of Combat PTSD.
