Mr. Vizi began his writing career when he accepted his first publishing contract with the McGraw-Hill Company to write a nonfiction work on heating repair. He was selected as one of only 5 writers in the United States to write for this series. His book, Forced Hot Air Furnace – Troubleshooting and Repair was published in May of 1999, and is still selling well today. After the release of his first work, Mr. Vizi made a decision to begin working on fiction works. He is pleased to announce that Writers Club Press will release Profile of a Murder in October of 2001. Writers Club Press released his second novel, Angels on my Wings in December of 2001. After completing his training in radio, Buy the book went live on the air on November 24, 2001. This was a “pilot” radio interview program dedicated to helping to promote new authors. When the pilot ended, Mr. Vizi went in search of a sponsor for the show that had the same conviction and goals to help promote new and talented authors. After speaking with many potential sponsors, Mr. Vizi was proud to sign a contract to have Matt Miller and AuthorsDen sponsor the show. “Mr. Miller’s ideas lined up perfectly with the goal of the original show. He has committed a great deal of time, money, and effort to promoting talented authors both on and off the AuthorsDen site, and I am proud to have AuthorsDen as a sponsor.” The title of the show was changed to The author’s den sponsored by AuthorsDen.com and went live on August 3rd. 2002. “The goal of The author’s den radio show,” according to Mr. Vizi “is to boost every author that appears on the show to the next level. Author selection for the show is based on reader appeal. Each author that appears on the show is the top author in their “type” of writing, and this show will place them in the spotlight and could open up opportunities for them to advance their writing career.” Mr. Vizi is currently interested in signing with an agency that can promote his works to the motion picture industry and would be interested in hearing from any interested parties.
In December of 2003, Mr. Vizi will be signing a new contact with McGraw-Hill to write a new book on heating repair. The yet-to-be titled book is scheduled to be released in September of 2004.
Mr. Vizi has resided in Oregon since 1989 where he lives with this wife of 27 years, Nadine, and their son Stephen.
Accomplishments: I am a member of the Author Guild of America and the Mystery Writers Guild.
