I'm not quite sure what Mom meant by that but I reassured her that, as a librarian, everything I know I learned from books! Seven years later, here I am, ready to launch a fourth book. ANNIE'S SONG, a stand alone title, can be considered, unofficially, the fourth book of the Taylor Morgan Trilogy. I never expected to write one book, let alone a trilogy plus one. In fact, TIMING IS EVERYHTHING was written as a stand alone title. It wasn't until a month or so after its publication that I realized there was a sequel, then later a third book. The Taylor Morgan Trilogy (TIMING IS EVERYTHING, WHEN THAT TIME COMES, and 'TIL THE END OF TIME) touched a chord with the readers and they were clamoring for more even though the trilogy was complete. So, after a long wait, along comes ANNIE'S SONG. Then there's the question of how a Scots-Irish girl with a Hebrew first name and a German last name produced a book of Japanese Haiku. The answer is great teachers who gave me a love of words. RED VELVET SHOES: CONTEMPORARY HAIKU(May 2005) is a celebration of that love and a tribute to my teachers. I'm an active freelance writer in the Albuquerque area with articles appearing in New Mexico Business Journal, New Mexico Woman, and POSH New Mexico. I hold memberships in the New Mexico Book Coop, South West Writers, and EPIC. Next up is a historical romance based on a real person in 1800's New Mexico. And maybe someday I'll get to my ghost story set in Venice. Read On!
