My stories are about people you might know and they incorporate social and political issues that you are familiar with, explored through humor in some books and drama in others. I try to create characters that will remain in your heart to encourge understanding and generate activism.
Because I feel strongly about the therapeutic benefits of writing and sharing ideas, I encourage everyone to write the stories they carry inside, whether for publication or private release. I look forward to meeting you, in person or through the Internet, and hope you enjoy reading my work as much as I enjoy writing.

I have written six published novels, more that are yet unpublished, and hundreds of articles, short stories, and poems. Writing entertains, challenges, and heals me; publishing connects me to others. In return, I want what I publish to provide the same benefits to my readers.
