One of Dr. Sharon Denise Allison-Ottey’s passion since her early childhood rembrances has been writing.  She entered her first fiction contest in the third grade and spent hours crafting a story of her friend, an imaginary dinosaur.  This passion for fiction was very private, hidden in her journals, until the release of her first novel, "All I Ever Did Was Love a Man".  The author has introduced a new genre to the world of fiction; one that both entertains and teaches in a way that is unique and impactful. The novel has impacted the lives of thousands and continues to entertain and empower.

Sharon Denise Allison-Ottey, MD is an energetic, motivating, and insightful speaker that shares her expertise in the area of health and self esteem particularly focused on women.  “Dr. Sharon” as she is affectionately known does reach the heart and spirit of women in her unique approach and her ability to break down medical/health information in a way that anyone can readily understand.  However, Dr. Sharon does not limit herself to just addressing health.  Her heart is for women that are often hurting, suffer from poor self esteem, confused about relationships and really searching to find their voice.  She also addresses family and men’s issues in a holistic approach that brings clarity and healing.

Sharon Allison-Ottey continues to make an impact wherever she goes and welcomes the opportunity for you to look inside the world of her first heroine, Sabrena. She is working on a series of 6 novels that are birthed out of her first.  Additionally, she has completed a non fiction book-- "Is That Fried Chicken Worth It?"  She will release the long awaited followup to her first novel in 2008.
