Growing up on a farm in a small town with three younger brothers was challenging at best. Yet challenge became a constant force throughout her life and has not only presented some pretty unique life choices, but quite a diversified career as well.
While writing became a great way to express herself, early in her forties Sharon began her writing movie scripts and poetry simultaneously . Writing scripts was no easy task; while writing poetry seemed to come naturally to her. However difficult a challenge, creating something of interest for others proved to be an amazing undertaking - one that continues to hold her interest. Sharon has been published in several Anthologies and has four 'Poet's Choice Awards'.
Although Sharon enjoys writing, photography, hiking, quading, dancing, cooking and baking, she enjoys life itself and has been very fortunate indeed to have had an opportunity to travel and live in other parts of the world . The support of family and friends plays a very important role to the success of anyone's journey. Sharon credits much of her writing success to her dear friend Dana, who has not only been a major influence in her writing, but has played a very large part in the success of her career and accomplishments.
Anything we make an effort to try throughout our life can be rewarding, whether it is something big or small. Trying new things will most often lead us to something new and exciting. We can never fail when we try and the more we try, the more we learn.We only need to find the courage to try, then challenge our limitations to the best of our ability.
