Journey to 1000 http://www.journeyto1000.org is my one man attempt to raise awareness and funds for Take Back The Night (a movement against the rape and abuse of women worldwide) in memory of Nicole Joslyn and Alan Lowrie, who were murdered 10/24/2004.
I hope to accomplish this by selling 1000 copies of my poetry book ...and yet you continue to provoke the night and donating 100% of the author royalties.

Shawn lives in Fond du Lac, WI with his wife, stepson and daughter.
His writings have appeared in 45 South, From The Mountain Top and Best Poets Of 2000.
He enjoys reading and discovering new poets but his major influences are Walter Herzog, Frank Moore and Rod McKuen.
