Sherry worked with over a thousand people in the throes of grief. She designed a series of Grief Workshops that supplies the cruicial information needed to find some stability in the herculean storm of loss.
Through her own dealings with the deaths of numerous family and friends, she realized that the cookie cutter solutions offered didn't affirm or confirm a person's feelings. "Conquering the Mysteries and Lies of Grief" explores some of the more controversial topics as well as the scattered viewpoints about grief including hallucinations, anger, and the domino effect of stress.
Sherry Russell is a highly sought after speaker and workshop presenter on grief and crisis. She has been instrumental in bringing a range of trauma and bereavement reaction preparation and management services to companies, nonprofit organizations and governmental agencies. Sherry's broad range of experience provides companies and professionals with valuable expertise. She has shared her expertise as a leading Grief Specialist, a Board Certified Trauma Specialist, and as a Board Certified Expert in Traumatic Stess with a wide range of audiences from those surviving a loss to physicians, social workers, psychologists and licensed mental health workers.
Sherry Russell is a Grief Management Specialist, Board Certified in Bereavement Trauma, Board Certified Expert in Traumatic Stress and a Diplomate, American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress. She is a member of a Suicidology Research Program, American Academy of Experts for Traumatic Stress, Association of Death Education and Counseling National and Florida Chapter, and is listed in the International Academy of Experts. Sherry's volunteer work includes being a mentor for "at risk" teens, providing articles on mental health issues for non profit organizations, grief resources for natural disasters, breast cancer legislative volunteer, animal rescue, and hospital patient advocate.

Sherry's career has been an unusual and varied one. She has appeared in television commercials and was the main talent for a television pilot. She has been recognized by the Small Business Adminstration while owning her own business.
Through public speaking she has touched many people with specific, frank and inspirational information about life, death and the grief in between.
Sherry is a Grief Management Specialist, researcher, and speaker. She is a member of the National Center for Crisis and The American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress and listed in the International Directory of Experts. She has numerous articles published on websites as well as in trade magazines.

"Conquering the Mysteries and Lies of Grief" is presently being utilized in college class rooms in the US and abroad. "The Life Adventures of ZeldaLou and BabyBoo" is in the publishing process. The series is designed to delight and enlighten children and parents as well. It investigates a child's emotions on how it feels to be born "different" in a perfect world.
Sherry is presently working on a book for teens to help them process their grief and anger issues. She is working on a research project following four seperate families dealing with different types of losses.
