smzang began life on a farm a few miles from Ocean City, Md. As an adult, she transplanted to the wild and wonderful tangle of mountains and rolling hills of West Virgina. In love with both the sea and the mountains, her primary vehicle for poetry is Mother Nature in one form or another.

smzang has been published in many on line and in print poetry journals including poeticdiversity, get underground, Blue House, Here and Now, Muse Whipsers, New Classic Poems, Subtle Tea, Ya'Sou and others.

She has recently compiled a poetry anthology in partnership with Jean Lewis, called A Bouquet of Poetry, currently available through Lulu.com.
