I have always been passionate about writing and expressing my emotions or experiences on a piece of paper. I have written numerous poems over the past 9 years (mostly in afrikaans), but my dream, my main goal was to write a book or a story, something that will have meaning to not just me, but someone else out there in this world.

Up to this day i have not achieved any certifications or awards for my writing, as i have never shared it with others, i simply felt it wasn't good enough to expose to the world or even to well known authors. I do not think writing is a talent, i think anyone with soul, emotion and imagination has the ability to write, so in my opinion, i don't rate some better than others. I think we all as individuals speak a different "language" and that makes us unique. From a personal point of view, i have achieved many things from my writing. I achieve peace within myself, i achieve freedom as i have the power to note down my burdens, i achieve inner strength because opening up to myself, makes me understand and lets me see things from a different perspective, just to mention a few.
