I began writing when I was ten. Under the tutelage of a creative teacher, I flourished. I set writing aside to work in the real world. Inevitably, I ended up writing reports, newsletters and skits for company meetings. Writing just wouldn't let go.

I am a member of Phi Theta Kappa, the honor society for two-year colleges. I was honored as Toastmaster of the Year by District 2 Toastmasters in 1993. --Oh! And I had a poem published in the now-defunct Mary Engelbreit newsletter, called "The Artful Life."

I am returning to the writing world from a health-imposed sabbatical and hope to publish several children's books and various poetry in the near future.
