 Official Biography
Born and raised in Venezuela from Italian immigrants, I completed a BA degree in Political and Administrative Cs. before moving to the US.

Although I built a career as a Business Analyst / Accountant since 1987,  I also have kept myself active as  a  Freelance  writer in the US.  This year I finally took the plunge to the publishing Industry and currently work as the Editorial Assistant at Reader Views and First Chapter Plus while dedicating the remainder of my time to my own writing.

A little Note about myself:

I have been writing essays and poetry in Spanish since I was 13 years old, and started playing with some short poems in English, once in the US, but never took it seriously until I listened to my father tapes.

In an effort to get to know my father, I had asked him to tape some anecdotes so that I could type a little memoir for his grandkids to read when they were older. Two years later he changed my life by giving me his life in 5 tapes.

It took 14 years for me to learn how to write in English, research, and write Innocent War, which is book 1 of a series based on my Dad's and my Mom's lives was published in 2009, as well as create a small writer profile with few small publications.

I have been influenced by my parents, grandparents and my uncles my whole life. I imitated them in most of my decision making as I grew up, and yet I had no idea of who they were, no clue on their amazing life.

I always wrote as I whispered to myself, my motivation now is different. I write to share who I am, to share life lessons through story telling...my family's stories, my own stories. I meant to find my father in those tapes, instead I found myself, and the writer within.

My goal now as I write is to help generations connect and learn from each other.

Innocent War
It was 1940, the dawn of Italy’s World War II for the Italian Colonies of Libya. Nino woke up to his regular routine; but by the end of the day, his life will have changed into a nightmare; an adventure through Nino’s eyes. Innocent War is a boy’s adventure, showing a child’s point of view through the war’s hardships, dangers, and tragedies, combined with his own humor, innocence and awakening as he grows up. It is part of a fictional series based on Historical facts experienced by the real life Nino.

I Have Something To Say - Blog
Welcome to my blog. All of my life I've felt I have so much to say, but never spoke. I wrote only for myself because I figured what ever I had to say was not important for anyone but me. Many years ago, I said to my father that I thought he should record anecdotes, jokes or even facts about his life, and I would transcribe them for his grandchildren to read. This request was more for me, as I always wanted to get to know him better. I was able to word it out to him because I was convinced that he wasn't listening to me anyway. I was wrong. He did listen and handed me years later five tapes. Fourteen years went by since the first time I listened to the tapes. I am still in shock. The life I discovered behind this man, my father is incredible! How could he spend all those years with us and said nothing? Maybe he thought his past was irrelevant, he thought it was important only to him? A chain of events began to unfold, since then...I decided I needed to learn how to write in English, since we all live in the US now (I was born and raised in South America from Italian immigrants), and started working on a book...I would write a book to get to know my father, to build a relationship I never dreamed I could have with him. The project took a life of its own and transcended to my mother too! My project, find out who my parents really are, understand how they became the parents they are, but it went even further. I realized I was doing the same with my own children. How could my children be who I hope they will be, when I wouldn't share who I was as a person, as a woman, as a teen, as a child...My life changed. I changed. I realized I have something to say not just to myself. Now I can't shut up! I don't want to be quiet, so ready or not I will speak out to whoever wishes to listen, on whatever I feel needs to be said.
