because I'm an army-brat
I love: my four beautiful babies
my husband
writing and
reading and
photography
I've spent time in the army
and my husband is in the army
but I am against the war (naughty girl)
White picket fences nauseate me
so do status-quo suburban housewives
I'm a bit confrontational, though only when necessary
I don't like watching much television
but love an occasional good movie
I hate trendy
but thrive outside the box
I hate phony
but love the unconventional
I hate pretentious
but find intelligence groovy
My neighbors think I'm weird
(especially the Republicans)
though I could be wrong

My biggest life dream is
to spend a summer teaching children
in the most impoverished place
that I can find on this earth
but not for religious reasons
just to know what it feels like
to live like they do

back and forth between Christian music
and "bad girl" music
and I'm proud of it.
