Have been writing since 1965, mostly rhyming verse and song lyrics, along with some free verse and prose. In the beginning years, most of my works were activist oriented and connected to the "freedom of speech" movement, with many poems published in college literary magazines and the "underground" free press (Village Voice, etc.). Having somewhat mellowed out in later years, my works now lean more toward entertainment and humor (though I am known to tackle a good cause from time to time). I'm just the gunslinger to put a bigot down. Recent projects include supporting several writers' work shop groups and assisting with a major poetry quarterly magazine, with an emphasis on helping new writers to become published. Also, on the more serious side, I am a volunteer with "WHO@," assisting victims of online abuse (see "Working to Halt Online Abuse" link below).
Life will be better when humans finally learn to play well together.
The road of life is so busy and populated by all sorts of travelers, each going from birth to the tombstone in his/her own unique way. I want to meet and talk with ALL of them, perhaps to understand them, speak their languages, and help to build bridges across yawning chasms caused by bigotry. The world of my vision is one where Christians and Pagans will work together in harmony to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, and visit the sick and the prisoners. I guess you could say that I crave large goals. So did Jesus.
In the mean time (if time must be mean), I am quite content to leave the hateful debates of men alone (just leave them to devour themselves, as they will) and build a Web, a network, where your creations and my own can thrive and grow tall. If I can assist you, nothing will make me happier. My own miniscule Website (Amnesiac Memoirs) started out to simply be my own little "chapbook," and it is blossoming out to be (joyfully) , something quite deeper (with a little help from my friends).
Currently residing in New Boston, Texas, rural enough to be out of the fast-lane insanity, and peopled in a friendly way.
Here are a few interesting Weblinks for you, in the interest of networking:
The NEXT Big WRITER
Somewhat like Author's Den, except the big thing is Reviewing - you earn credits for each review you give, and it costs credits for you to post your work. Pricey at $39+ to join, but entertaining and addictive, and another good way to gain exposure for your works.

Those who know me will know my fascination for research. Recently completed is a data base of hate groups masquerading as Christian organizations. (Review it HERE) These groups' activities range from criminal to terrorism, all in the name of Jesus and Christianity. We need to pay more attention to them.

Christian/Pagan (not as difficult as it may sound, as a bridge across the bigotry of our times) working hand in hand with Jesus who spent His life working with Roman killers, thieves, prostitutes, Pagans, recalcitrant Jews, robbers, always turning them to serve His Father, and He never would have dreamed that "Christians" might evolve ...
