I've never considered myself to be a poet, nor a great artist. I just do what I do because I enjoy writing poetry and doing sketches. Most of my work is humor. I was so physically and verbally abused growing up I guess I create humor to keep from crying. I would never tell any of my children they were not any good, stupid, or they wouldn’t amount to anything the way I was told so often. When a child is told these negative words so often it tends to stay with them through life. I’ve always thought positive especially when I got away from my Dad. I’ve had my ups and downs, but knew in my heart I was much better than dear old Dad had claimed me to be. I encourage my off spring any way I possibly can. I just try to always do the right things....
