I fell in love with words at an early age. I find it amazing how easily phrases can be turned around and suddenly mean something completely different. I love to play with my reader's mind and create the different moods that are necessary within the confines of my books. Writing romance novels with the twist of suspense is a challenge that I adore. I combine intricate plots with characters that are witty and real. I like my characters to reach out and grab my readers by the throat making them impossible to ignore. I consider Shakespeare and Edgar Allen Poe as the major influences of my reading and writing career. A strange combination I know, but a powerful one. They each wrote passionate words of longing, suspense, and undying love. What better influences could a romance/suspense novelist have?
