I was born in England but moved to Australia years ago. I live outside Melbourne, Victoria. Writing has always been a big part of my life but it wasn't until I retired early that I could write full-time. The elation felt when seeing your name as the author of a book is something only fellow writers would understand. That same sense of achievement never diminishes, no matter how many books you have published. And when a reader tells you how much they enjoyed your work, that makes all the long lonely hours of writing worthwhile.

SHRINKING VIOLET finalist in the 2006 Romance Writers of Australia Romantic Book of the Year Award
My Mainstream novel, "Traces of Dreams" www.triciamcgill.com won the prestigious Romance Writers of Australia's Romantic Book of the Year in 2003. This Award showcases the work of Australian and New Zealand writers.

White Clover http://www.triciamcgill.com was voted BEST ELECTRONIC BOOK in the 2001 Romantic Times Reviewer's Choice Awards.
