My children are my inspiration and motivation for everything I have ever done or have yet to do. My first child inspired me to write out of necessity and her constant search for wanting to learn something new. At the age of 16, I couldn't afford a lot of books and I didn't live close to a library. My son and second child inspired me to do more educational things that were imaginative because he preferred or better understood a fantasy type world. He didn't learn things in the so-called normal way. My third child and second daughter inspired me to finally give the writing world a try with a simple idea over a bedtime story one summer night. Soon Rainbow Farm emerged and the series began.

Accomplishments: My biggest achievement isn't awarded with a certificate of completion or a blue ribbon for first place. It has its own rewards of hugs and kisses and the innocence of a child’s smile when they get a new puppy that tears up everything in your house, or the laughter you share over the latest joke that you've heard a million times before, or the tears you wipe while you clean the cuts they get from falling off a bike when they thought they could jump that ditch. The list goes on with children and they are my greatest accomplishment.
