Valerie Hardin is a gothic poet, writer, artist, children's ebook writer, a nonfiction writer and whatever the mood strikes her. She has been published in print and ebooks. Hardin started out in underground print zines. Her hobbies include sleeping, eating, and collecting dust. Valerie loves things that glow in the dark, stars, stickers.

Valerie Hardin is a founder of the original children's Ebook Hall of Fame. She was influenced by many family members and a teacher would read dark fairy tales in class. Valerie Hardin has written a children's ebook about ADD and a ebook dyslexia. Valerie learned that it was okay not to think like everyone else. Valerie Says "The things that people tease you about as a kid can make your work stand out as an adult. People don't want boring. Lots of creative types are ADD and are Dyslexic. More than few published writers are dyslexic. There is hope for you and or your child." Valerie has a love for fairy tales. Her teacher used to read scary ones to the class. Fairy tales have the magic of story. Some of these gothic fairy tales stories were published on the net. Valerie has been a Vegetarian since 1992. She eats eggs and dairy. Some of her favorite Bands and or musicians They Might Be Giants, Bare Naked Ladies, Jan and Dean, Weird AL, Billy Joel, Three Dog Night, beach boys, and Logan Whitehurst & The Jr. Science Club. She also love's Alternative music, and 80's new wave. She has fondness for god, friends, sea monkeys, gargoyles, and more!
