I have always enjoyed writing (poetry & song lyrics mostly) for as far back as I can remember. My mother has been and will forever be the driving force behind my love for writing, and even though she passed away many years ago, I truly feel her presence in any writing project I undertake. Several of my poems were written especially for "My Beautiful Mother, Mary."
My (4) book Lambert series; "THIEF OF HEARTS" "FORBIDDEN" "FRIENDLY ENEMIES" and "LE FIN" was my first major attempt at serious writing.
What started off as a joke between two sisters and one book turned into a (4) book series. (Who knew? Smile.)
One afternoon while visiting my sister during the airing of one of her favorite 'T.V.SOAPS," she glanced at me shaking her head with distaste (upset over where the direction the story line in her favorite soap opera was heading), she said. "They need to replace the writers on this show. Anyone could do a better job than the writers they have now!" She rolled her eyes and went on. "Hey Sis, I've got an idea, why don't you write a story line for 'Days Of Our Lives' and send it to them?" She smiled and slightly blushed at the same time suddenly realizing how her intended compliment may have sounded. An errie moment of silence followed as I considered her suggestion. I returned the smile and my four word response was simply. "Thank you I think!" Three months later, "Thief of Hearts" was complete followed by another fifteen months and three follow-up visits to my makebelieve island paradise of Lambert with a (4) book series. Believe me 'NO ONE' was more surprised than I!

Published author of over (275) poems/song lyrics, nominated poet of the year 1990-2008 by "The International Library of Poetry" & "Famous Poet Society". Many of my poems are featured in numerous hard copy anthologies and I have received national recognition by a committee that represents "Outstanding Young Women In America," in their 1983 hard copy edition. The Lambert Series (A Romantic/Murder/Mystery) "Thief of Hearts," released by AmErica House/Publish America 2/01 "Forbidden released 5/29/02 by AmErica House/Publish America. "Friendly Enemies" release date 3/28/03, and "LE FIN" will be released 4/03, also by AmErica House/Publish America. Other novels, "La Belle Saison," "The Hall of Mirrors," "The Second Time Around," "Sincerely," and "The Visions of Murder Danced In His Head," are currently available for consideration in publication. -- My current work in progress; A series of 'CHILDRENS BOOKS' I'm working on with my daughter, Michelle, (sort-of 'how-to' books) for children ages pre-school-third grade. "THE ADVENTURES OF HERBIE McNUTT." The Herbie McNutt characters even though animals, dress, and act just like real kids. They live in a neighborhood, with real houses, play, and go to school. Each story book was written with today's child in mind. The stories are intended to challenge and enhance the creative minds of children. Self-discovery-needs-fears-feelings and changes connected with growing and learning). Herbie McNutt and his large assortment of friends with their whacky names will delight children for hours on end. A few of the titles are, "Herbie McNutt Weathers The Storm". (A story about making the best of a bad situation like that of a cold, rainy day). "Herbie McNutt's Twelve Days Before Christmas." (A story about time management). Herbie McNutt and The Coat of Many Colors." (A story about community service jobs). I have also recently signed a contract with HillTop Recording Studios in Hollywood California allowing them to use two of my poems on their up-coming CD albums of songs called, "America" and "Country At Heart." My poems/song lyrics are titled, "Lonely Hearts Cry" and "Since You've Been Gone." They can be purchased through www.hilltoprecords.com.
