I come from a Nursing/healing background and took up photography and writing as my chosen form of creative expression. I was influenced greatly by my mentor who is a Chinese Singaporean photographer. I have perused on-line courses and have purchased many books on the subject. I come from a background of writers, my grandfather owned a newspaper chain and my family have had poetry anthologies published.
I am motivated by an urge to create, by nature and the wonders therein, by art both visual and written. I am fascinated with combining the two and am interested in pursuing this further.
In my published work I targeted both conservation and tourism. I am hoping to engender a love of and a desire to conserve our natural world.
I am working on a book with a local historian where we hope to depict our beautiful City in an amazing new way combining both media.
