"A poem is a little myth of man's capacity of making life meaningful. And in the end, the poem is not a thing we see -- it is, rather, a light by which we may see -- and what we see is life."
"A poetry articulating the dreads and horrors of our time is necessary in order to make readers understand what is happening, really understand it, not just know about it but feel it: and should be accompanied by a willingness on the part of those who write it to take additional action towards stopping the great miseries which they record."
I was born and raised in Houston, Texas and several years ago moved to Las Vegas, Nevada. That's right, Sin City. As years went by and I grew older, and endured many challenges and struggles. Many that were life threatening and dangerous. All of which I have overcome and are still battles I continue to fight. At a young age, I found a deep passion within writing. I write about emotion, pain, misery, love, reality, and secrets we may all keep deep inside. My biggest inspiration, was noone in particular except myself, my fears, my hopes, and my dreams. I write what my mind see's, feels, and believes in such a way I cannot speak. My hope is that my words can touch someone elses heart, someone elses mind, and possibly someone elses life. I hope to provoke thought, show you new perspectives, and possibly put you in someone else's shoes...or maybe back in shoes you've already worn before.
