English-born Anthony Eglin spent many years in the ad business, in England and the U.S., before closing his successful agency to indulge in his passion for gardening pursuits. In 1995, as a partner in a film production company, he co-produced a series of bestselling garden videotapes and won Garden Design magazine’s Gold Trowel Award for best Rose Garden.
Since then he has authored four internationally popular garden mystery novels, including The Blue Rose, which, in 2006, was awarded France’s prestigious Prix Arsène Lupin for mystery novel of the year.
A member of the American Rose Society, Anthony and his wife, along with tabby cat Pyewacket, live in California’s Wine Country.
Like Kingston, he’s addicted to the London Times cryptic crosswords, once in a while finishing one without cheating—or so he claims.
Birth Place: london, england
Accomplishments: 2006 Winner of the Prix Arsene Lupin for France's Best Mystery Novel.
