Hello. As my heading says, I am a writer and an actor. I first starting writing short stories when I was around nineteen when I discovered Stephen King. I belonged to a writers group that I attended every two weeks if I was not in rehearsal for a play I was in. Once I turned twenty-one and started working full-time, I quickly learned how much I loathed it and did not want to spend the rest of my life working 9-5, so I decided to start serious pursuing a career as an actor. After a brief stint doing stand-up, I spent several years doing theater, one play after another, and I loved every second of it. It was a great creative outlet where I learned a good deal and had a lot of fun. I eventually moved to California in pursuit of making a career of good times. During all of this time, writing kind of fell by the wayside. I started to write again and I had forgotten how much I had really enjoyed it. Frankly, I have not been very happy with the acting roles I have been offered because most of them are pretty lowbrow and not worth my time. I still love theater, but it is so time consuming. As of this moment, I have had seven books published and I am proud of all of them.
Some of my favorite writers are Dan Brown, Stephen King and Dean Koontz, even though I have read dozens of other authors. I will read anything if it looks good. I also tend to read biographies of my favorite actors and musical artists. Also, I am the owner of quite an extensive comic book collection numbering in the thousands.
